Global Practice Lead, Platform Ecosystem Strategy
Built the Platform Economics Acceleration practice from zero with full P&L ownership across EMEA, APAC, and AMER. Practice grew to 15+ Fortune 500 clients generating €550M in direct and influenced revenue across Automotive, Manufacturing, Finance, and Insurance: BMW, Audi, Volkswagen, Continental, Bosch, and AVL. Built and managed a 10-person expert team alongside a global delivery and strategy partner network.
The problem that produced the frameworks was consistent across every engagement. Organisations arrived with no starting point, no way to identify who their participants actually were or what challenges those participants needed solved. They were building channels, not platforms, optimising for monetisation before they had generated any value. They misunderstood network effects as an outcome to be installed rather than a dynamic that emerges when the right participants are connected through the right products. The sequence from prototyping to validation to Minimal Loveable Platform to scale was either skipped entirely or executed in the wrong order. The flywheel logic was known but not operationalised. These were not strategic failures. They were perceptual ones. Organisations could not see what they were building because no framework existed that showed them how to look. The frameworks built here were the direct response to that gap.
